I inquired of one of our guests, how things were in this New Year and he responded in the following way. “I work very hard for my boss but he does not want to increase my wages. My boss said that everything is more expensive and he can’t afford to pay me more”. This is the way the conversation went as I began to realize that the man’s focus is his boss. He can’t put too much pressure on the boss because he could lose his job. Strictly speaking, his boss is his provider. I wonder how many people have this same problem at this time in our country? So many of the men are working in other countries while wives and children are alone at home.
This does not sound like the blessing that God promised His people. It sounds like a curse.
I would like to suggest shifting the focus.
Stop focusing on being the provider, only focus on guarding your heart. Read the following carefully word by word.
Pro 4:23: “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
This proverb is saying that all the issues of life come out of the state of the heart. Finances is only one of the issues that we have.
The heart is the conscience and we must love God with all our heart, we must keep all His Commandments if we are going to love Him. If we should do this all the blessings that is written in Deuteronomy 28 is ours.
Deut 28:8: “The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”
God will bless everything you do if you make the heart your first priority. God is our provider! Let’s face it, we cannot trust people. People might have good intentions but they are only people. Never think that people can provide for us, even if they might want to, they are subject to change but God never changes. God made the world and the universe with a word, don’t you think the least we can do is to keep our heart from sin so that He can live in us constantly and be our provider? If you worry, you are not keeping your heart. Then God is no longer the ruler of your heart, fear is ruling in your heart. It’s idol worship.
God loves us, God wants to provide all the issues of the heart. God wants to bring ideas to us, the earth has never seen, but He cannot find a guarded heart. Our negative emotions and feelings walk in and out of our hearts.
The way we think causes the curse and not the blessing.
If we make the heart the focus of our lives God provides in many creative ways. If you love only God as in the first commandment, the second commandment follows automatically. To love your neighbor as yourself. Because God does bless you, you are automatically a blessing to your workplace and to your colleagues. God will show you how to bring extra income to that business that will cause you to be promoted. You will be a blessing in everything you do!
Go and be a blessing!
Please comment, we love to hear your thoughts.

In this New Year, I would like to welcome our new readers who have gone through the cave. Most of our new readers have experienced the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit who brought them here in wonderful ways.
It is a time for doing introspection so that we can experience the blessings of God constantly. It’s a time for house cleaning and rearranging our lives so that we have a clear conscience by which we have greater confidence towards God and man.
There is nothing as good as to have a clear conscience. This is the way to have the expectancy that good things are coming our way.
One of the other main things that bring God onto the scene of our lives is the power of agreement.
Mat 18:19: “Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

Mat 18:19: “Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
I would just like to add a short note to this subject before continuing on with this month’s subject which is How to Guard the heart.
We are told to love our neighbour as ourselves and the conclusion of the previous letter is that our enemy is the sinful nature that is in all of us. If we can teach our fellow human being what sin is and how to deal with it we are fulfilling the second commandment.
The word “love” is a verb. That means we are working for our neighbour, if we can, by example self-control. We can teach others that this is the way to guard the heart so that God can bless us.
To self-control completely is impossible, to live above our sinful nature is our greatest challenge, but we can help each other guard the heart against the wickedness of the personal lower nature.
I have personally experienced how I lost God’s blessing when I lost my temper. After a long time of praying and fasting God taught me to die to anger. He taught me that this bad thing is inside me and that it is for me to rule over it. He taught me to crucify what I look like when I am angry, I learnt to use my imagination and to follow Jesus daily, by laying down this lower life of self at the cross. It changed my life! I teach it to everyone I meet. This is the way I love my neighbour.
All other commandments hang on the first two commandments.
Mat 22:37-39: “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment, and the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
We guard our hearts against the things of the flesh so that we may love God only, with all of our heart, soul and mind. We do this by laying down our lives daily. We also do introspection daily, to see which things of the flesh may have come into the heart and then we die to it in the same way Jesus did. We use communion, the heart is now sanctified, the conscience is clear and we are ready to do God’s works by faith.
Here at The Shoe Ministries, we preach the Cross. We do so because it is where we lay down all of our life in order to have a clear conscience. To have a clear conscience is to have a heavenly life here in the earth.
With a clear conscience, we can expect to receive instruction and inspiration as we are led by the Holy Spirit.
Everything I share with you is out of personal mistakes. I remember that I at one time begged God to help my child. I was immediately rebuked by the Holy Spirit. I then realized that the Afrikaans Bible talks about prayer and begging in Philippians 4. (Gebed en smeking) By this time I am sure that all of our readers have come to the conclusion that it does not work to beg God.
If you analyze your own prayers it could help you a lot to get things done in the heavens.
Let me remind you of the Glory Painting you saw here at The Shoe before you entered into the Cave:
Jesus made it possible for us to enter into Him and the work he did for us on the Cross. Therefore we can boldly come to the throne of God. We are now reinstated to be joint-heirs with Jesus. The dominion Adam had and lost is now ours. With a clear conscience, we are seated above in heavenly places with Christ. Eph.2:6
Notice the man wearing the full armour of God, standing under the Blood of Jesus, in front of the Throne of God, on the right side of the painting.
How can we be begging out of this position?
I would never allow my child to beg me for anything; since everything is already his.
I have a task to prepare him, to rule over what he already has. There are rules that we live by that are written in the conscience which the Holy Spirit uses to guide us into the transformation of the mind. This is why it is so important to honour the Holy Spirit daily. He is that small voice that can only be heard if the conscience is clear. The same power that rose Jesus from the dead is the Holy Spirit in us. Jesus did no miracles until the Holy Spirit came upon him. This Spirit of God is the gift of God to us so that we can feel our way towards Him.
Act 17:27: “So that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although He is not far from each one of us.”
God does not mind if we make mistakes as long as we are open to being led by the Holy Spirit to be transformed in the mind.
Rom 12:2: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
We are born in sin and our natural sinful nature does not understand the things of God. For this reason, we become a daily living sacrifice as the Holy Spirit points out our carnal thinking.
Rom 12:1: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
This word: “bodies a living sacrifice” is the flesh. It is the will, intellect, feelings and emotions that must be dealt with daily at the cross. We follow Jesus.
As we die daily to self by the guidance of the Holy Spirit we gradually grow into our inheritance, which is to rule.
This process of dying to self is called the circumcision of the heart (conscience).
It takes a long time and it hurts. The natural sinful nature does not die easily but fortunately, the Holy Spirit is patient with us. In this letter, I hope to set a beacon of light for you to be guided by in your spiritual growth. Your future on the earth is to live in Christ. You are going to do the things He did because the same Spirit who rose Jesus from the dead dwells in you. All of heaven is watching us as we grow. Paul describes it as a race that we run.
Heb 12:1: “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”
Let’s talk about this! Leave your comments below!

The understanding of the authority we have in Christ Jesus should be our ultimate goal as believers.
We always ask people if they agree that if we should lose everything we have and own right now, but still have faith, we would still be the richest people on earth? They always agree.
Then how could it be that so many people are worried about what is happening in SA right now?
Then I should say that we should be working on our faith.
Luke 17:5-6: “And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamore tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.”
I would like to share my personal testimony with you. It is about Growing in the knowledge and Wisdom of Jesus Christ.
I am always reading up on other preachers and listening to them on Youtube because I am always trying to find people who preach the same things we do here at The Shoe Ministries. I was reading a book by Kenneth Hagin and he was telling about how he was pastoring at a small church and had no place to study the bible, so he would go to the Church to be with the Lord. He told how he would lie down on the floor in front of the altar and repeat these three scriptures to himself as often as he could:
Ephesians 1:16-19:
We cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
Colossians 1:9-12:
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12:
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Kenneth Hagin continued to write that after he was praying these three scriptures over himself for several months there suddenly came over him a rush of revelation on the Word of God and the Knowledge of Jesus Christ. He said he told his wife one night: What was I preaching before? I can’t believe I did not have this revelation before.
Kenneth Hagin is known for his faith preaching. He also taught people to say it, hear it, and believe it. It is God’s will for us to have the full understanding of who we are in Christ. It was also the Apostle’s desire for people to gain knowledge and understanding of Jesus Christ. By speaking these words he started gaining.
So guess what I did?
Yes, you guessed right. I wrote these scriptures down and put them up on my wall. I started praying these prayers over myself. Declaring that I have the knowledge and understanding of Jesus Christ. That the eyes of my understanding were enlightened… I am the good pleasure of His goodness and the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is glorified in me….I have the spirit of the wisdom and revelation of Jesus Christ…etc…
It has been about 4 months now since I have been doing it and suddenly I am experiencing a rush of new revelation and knowledge coming into my spirit.
It has been coming through different channels. Not only my own personal study but also by listening to other preachers who emphasized my new understanding.
I want to encourage every reader to take action!
Start speaking the word of God into your own life and over the lives of your loved ones.
Even Jesus had to grow.
Jesus answered his parents after they found him in the temple in Luke 2:49
“Do you not know I must be about my Father’s business?” and verse 52 says: “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”
God desires to reveal Himself to his children.

I would like to lay to rest the question of the Armour of God in Ephesians 6. How do you put it on and do you take it off?
Putting on the Armour is putting on Jesus!
Romans 13:14: “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.”
Do I ever take off Jesus? No, most certainly not. The only reason why I keep putting on Christ daily is because I have to die daily. The war of the mind is a continuous one. Sometimes we wake up in the morning feeling strong and in contact with God then somewhere during the day you realize that someone said something and the smallest bit of fear enters to make you uncomfortable. Our closest friends are dying of Covid and we begin to ask inner questions.
To set out and do the things your hands find to do is a great adventure if only you can keep fear or worry out of the equation. How do you keep negative thoughts at bay?
Death and life are in the power of your tongue
We had two bikers visit us this week, two normal good Christian guys who have to survive by faith because they have no permanent job due to the current climate in South Africa. They contract their abilities and are managing to provide for their families. My heart went out to them and I told them how God taught me to talk right when I was a struggling artist with no material things.
I was surprised when I saw they did not have the understanding of speaking the things that do not exist into being. (This is Heb 11:1 of the faith chapter.)
I believe that if I had a job with a monthly income, my faith would not have developed. I do not think I would have a single testimony that glorifies God because I only have to budget with the money I have. I think that the people who have to pray and be thankful for every slice of bread are by far in a better position to please God. The Bible teaches that it is impossible to please God without faith. To set out and do the things your hands find to do is a great adventure if only you can keep fear or worry out of the equation. It is impossible to master your thoughts by yourself. It must be really hard for those people who are forced to live by faith in the present economy and political situation with covet and jealousy thrown into the mix to bring greater chaos.
This magnet features Jesus holding the elements, the wine and the bread up near his face. I suppose this is what it would have looked like on the night of Pentecost when Jesus served his Disciples with communion.
He broke the bread, blessed it and said take eat this is my flesh. After the meal he took the cup and said this is my blood of the New Testament, (new Covenant) which is shed for the remission of sins.
This Last Supper event is described in Matthew 26:27, Mark 14:23 and Luke 22:17.
The book of John is the only one who does not record the breaking of the bread during the Last Supper. John 13 does however record Jesus washing the disciples feet. Jesus rose up after they finished the meal (After serving them the communion) he laid his garments aside, poured water into a basin and started washing his disciples feet. When he came to Simon Peter, Peter first asked why he was washing their feet and then Peter did not want Jesus to wash his feet. Jesus replied in John 13:8: “If I wash thee not thy has no part of me”.
The whole idea of the Communion is so that we can have part in the work that Jesus accomplished for us. In John 6 Jesus mentions this a number of times;
John 6:51: I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
If we eat of Him we have life!
John 6:52- 56: “The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.”
If we eat the body of Jesus and drink his blood, he dwells in me and I in him!
The exact work that Jesus accomplished on the cross is so vast! It is almost too big to describe. Every Christian should spend time meditating on the the work of the Cross. Derek Prince had a booklet out called ‘The Divine Exchange.
The free download to this book can be found at the bottom of this page. On the very first page of the book Derek states one can only receive from the Cross to the extend one understands the cross.
These are the 10 points he makes in his booklet:
Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven.
Jesus was wounded that we might be healed.
Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might be made righteous with his righteousness.
Jesus died our death that we might share his life.
Jesus was made a curse that we might receive the blessing.
Jesus endured our poverty that we might share his abundance.
Jesus bore our shame that we might share his glory.
Jesus endured our rejection that we might have his acceptance with the Father.
Jesus was cut off by death that we might be joined to God eternally.
Our old man was put to death in him that the new man might come to life in us.
Questions about Communion
Praise God for Paul, he is faithful in answering all the questions we have about communion. In 1 Corinthians chapter 10 and 11 Paul has a lengthy discussion about how to use the communion. If you read all the accounts of the Last Supper as I mentioned above you will see that the breaking of the bread was part of the meal. They ate their whole meal with the unleavened bread and after the meal Jesus took the Cup.
In Acts 2:42 it says all the believers continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. In verse 46 it says they went to the temple daily and went from house to house breaking bread.
How often should we use communion?
I believe this question can be answered if you ask yourself: How often do you need communion?
1 Cor 11:26 says for as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
If taking Communion let’s you testify of Jesus Christ then we take it as many times as we need to testify of Jesus Christ.
If taking the Communion means I receive the life of Jesus Christ, then I take it as often as I need to be filled with the Life of Jesus Christ.
If taking the Communion means getting forgiveness of my sins, then I take communion as often as I need to repent and be washed by the blood of Jesus.
If you understand that Communion helps you receive the blessings and promises of God, such as health, then we use it as often as we need health. Derek Prince wrote that he took the communion as medicine, three times a day until he was cured.
What about taking Communion unworthily?
1 Corinthians 11:27 clearly states that whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. Because of this many of you are weak and sickly and many sleep.
I believe what Paul is saying is, we should remember Jesus Christ when we eat of his body and drink of his blood.
In 1 Corinthians chapter 10 he reminds us of the Israelite’s who were all baptized into the same sea and drank from the same rock, Jesus Christ but even they committed idolatry, fornication and murmured and complained. Just as they were one in all this, we are one by eating from the same loaf of bread, Jesus Christ. In Chapter 11 he tells the church that he heard complaints. Some are hungry, so they don’t wait for the others before partaking of the Bread, and others are drunk. He says to them the Lord’s Supper is not to fill your tummy it’s to remember Jesus Christ. We are to judge ourselves before we take part of the Communion. Consider the state of your heart or conscience, forgive and make peace before you eat and drink.
1Co 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
We are to follow Jesus’ example, we are to lay down our lives for the sake of others, we are to turn the other cheek, we are to love others as we love ourselves. We are also suppose to do what Jesus did on the earth, we are to have the same authority he had, we are to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leapers and preach the kingdom of God. I do believe that using the Communion daily can strengthen us with the life of Jesus Christ. By walking in that life which he supplied to us through the work of the Cross we can do the things Jesus did. We can receive the blessings that were lined up for us, we can receive the healing that was already given to us.
In Col 1:27 God had made known to us the riches of the glory the mystery of Christ in us.
The mystery of the will of God for man is that Christ should live inside people here on earth. Every time I read this verse I know that it is God’s will that Christ lives in me, yet, it is as if my natural mind does not fully comprehend it. As I read this verse continually I know that revelation comes to my soul of who I am in Christ. It as if layers of the veil have to be removed from my understanding.
Point is that if I fully understood this verse I would do the same works Jesus did in the earth. Heal the sick, raise the dead multiply food and walk on water. From reading 1 Pet 1:20 I understand that it was God’s will that Christ would be crucified before the foundations of the earth was laid so that mankind could do what Jesus did.
From Eph 1:17 It is God’s will that we have the revelation of the knowledge of the power that we possess in Christ.
Some people that I know have turned talking nonsense into an art form. These same people are the ones who are not getting their basics needs met. They say they pray and believe but when they meet up with their old friends they talk a lot of nonsense, cancelling out every life-giving word they spoke before. Did you know the Bible says we will be held accountable for every idle word we speak. It also says that the angels of the Lord listens to the voice of God’s Word. Did you know that God created the world with His world. When we give our hearts to God heaven is listening to our words to bring to pass the things we have need of. If we say something long enough it gets into the heart. The heart, being like soil, will bring forth the things we sow into it. If you say it long enough it will be the way you say. I believe even the angels are so frustrated with the way we speak that they must ignore us until we actually believe the things we say. I had an experience where the Holy Spirit was teaching me about the city of God. The building itself was too big to describe, but the part I saw had steps leading up to a great door. The door had a porch over it and I knew there were chambers in the same way Ezekiel describes it inside.
When doing a building job or new project on our property, I have to know if the Lord is in it. Secondly, I need agreement from my family. Many years ago we learned the power of agreement because of Mathew 18:19.
Mat 18:19 “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
We took this scripture to heart and wrote a physical contract of agreement. At the top, we write Mat 18:19 and then begin to write down the things we need to accomplish the task. Our first contract had basic things like our own property. A truck to transport wood out of the mountain, Yvonne needed curtains and the children had some needs. Michell was unhappy because they did not choose her for athletics and wanted to run and win the 80 and 60 meters. I remember it was a long list that we as a family agreed on as we had communion together and anointed each other with oil. Each of us gets a copy to take to our quiet time after everybody had signed it. It is a document of agreement. Do not come and tell me it is not going to happen this time! I will hold that document before you and show you where you agreed with everyone.
Many people have asked me how to hear God’s voice. I think that they expect it to be an audible voice of command accompanied by a feeling or at least goose bumps. In fact God speaks through thoughts. It is a knowing that you know, you know God has spoken in your spirit. The very least we can do to hear from God is to make sure the conscience is clear. The blood of Jesus is for the conscience.
Heb 9:14: “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? “ If you do it this way you will more easily know if the desire you have for something is from out of self [flesh] or from God. If the desire I have is the flesh, it is out of the soul. The word of God divides between soul and spirit. (Heb 4:12)
God speaks in the imaginations and thoughts of the heart. (Gen 6:5) The heart is the conscience thus if the conscience is clear as it should be clear before God and man our thoughts and imaginations are ready to receive from God.
God came down to see the tower they had build and said:
Gen 11:6: “And the Lord said, Behold, they are one people and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them. “ The imagination is that strong that it can do anything people imagine they can do. If the imagination is at the command of the Holy Spirit it will bring forth things that glorify God. I have made many mistakes by not waiting long enough for the Lord to answer prayer. Then I read how Jesus said anything you ask the Father He will give it to you if you ask it in His name.
So I asked , believed and asked but nothing happened. I then made a point of asking God why He is not responding. After which I remained in my heavenly language for an hour or so. The next day while I was working I suddenly understood as the answer came up in my spirit. When you lack wisdom ask God, then when you know what to, GO AND DO IT!
In John 14 we are told to ask but in Mark 11: 23 we are told to SAY to the mountain be thou removed and it will obey you.
The lesson is that God already said everything He had to say. He has given the life of His Son so that we can do the saying and commanding in the way Jesus spoke to sickness, the wind and to death. He always spoke to the situation, he did not pray and ask GOD to do it, He spoke to the fig tree and it died. We are mostly asking God to do things that He has already given us the authority to do. It is always God’s will that everybody be healed. It is also His will that we be provided for in every way. Most of the time God is waiting for us and we are waiting for God. I am sorry to say but God will not budge. It is time for the sons of God to grow up.
Rom 8:14: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” To do the things Jesus did in the earth.

The Heart referred to in the Bible is not the Physical heart.
I have been making a study of the word heart in the Bible. The word is used seven hundred and sixty five times in the Bible. As far as I can make out it always refers to the spirit heart and not the physical. We must remember that the Bible is a spiritual book that must be discerned spiritually. This is the reason that the carnal intellect does not understand the Bible. When intellectuals try to explain the Bible it makes no sense to anyone. This is the reason that there are so many interpretations of the word of God. I believe that the Holy Scriptures are written is such a way that it remains a mystery to all people until the Spirit of God interprets.
This being said there is one truth that must be applied to understanding the word, that all things that are physical are also spiritual.
The great commission to all believers is to preach the Kingdom of God.
It has come to my attention that most people don’t know where the Kingdom of God is. “The Kingdom of God is within”. Jesus stood on earth and said he was in heaven.
Ephesians 2:4 says we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. In Hebrews 12:22 “We are citizens of heaven”. Just to name a few scriptural examples. How can this be? Some say heaven is to the north of the earth and others that we will someday live in heaven but we are in hell right now. So many traditions and religions that make the word of God of none effect.
“But the kingdom of God belongs to children” (Luke 18:16).
When God came to earth in Genesis 65, He saw that the imaginations and thoughts of men’s hearts were continually evil.. For this same reason, He gave Noah the task of building the ark so that only he and his family would be saved as the flood commenced and wiped out the entire population of the earth. These three words describe that most important part of man where God should live, inside man. In the imaginations (1) and thoughts(2) of the heart(3). This shows that the physical heart is only a pump while the heart is where imaginations and thoughts abide that are of such importance to God.
Moses the law and the prophets all point towards Jesus and the cross.
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
With this magnet I want to stretch the fact that in Jesus and his Cross the law and the prophets were fulfilled. The little man in the magnet is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments on his chest. The Scrolls in front of him is the other books of the Old Testament, The Prophets and the books of the Laws of which Moses wrote five. Moses’ hand is pointing towards the cross on the hill and so does the scrolls, they paved the way. The Word of God gives life! The Word of God creates! You can say that throughout the ages Jesus was spoken into life by all the prophesies spoken throughout thousands and thousands of years. Take a look at my Creation magnet. On the right you see a candle, the candle represents the Holy Spirit who inspired the writers of the Bible.
My Dad carved a solid Lead Wood sculpture of Moses once. In his sculpture he had a mantle over Moses’ head, just like I also made him. The mantle represents the mantle of humility. In Number 22 it is said that Moses was the most humble man on the face of the earth. That is a great statement to make of a man. It shows that his humility played an important role, without being humble the Holy Spirit would not have been able to write the law through him or perform the great task of leading the Israelite’s out of Egypt.
Moses carved by Ron van Zyl
There are many reasons why we should believe the Bible and one of these is because in the Old Testament there are over 300 prophesies that spoke specific things about Jesus Christ and what he would suffer thousands of years before it happened. Some of these prophesies were very specific and all these things happened down to the very last detail. I will point out a few specific prophesies for you but there are literally hundreds.
This does not only prove that the Holy Spirit inspired the writers of the Old Testament but it proves that the scriptures are inspired by the Holy Spirit and that the Word of God, The Bible, is true.
Once you make the decision to believe God’s Word, to make it the final authority in your life and act on it, you will be surprised at the changes in your life!
Romans 8:29 says that we have been predestined and chosen to be conformed unto the image of Jesus Christ!
Prophesies about Jesus
Here are 4 specific things said by David in Psalm 69.
1. (Verse 8) Jesus would become a stranger to his brethren and an alien to my mother’s children.
This first point was fulfilled in many instances. His disciples ran off after Jesus got arrested and even Peter denying him 3 times. In John 7:5 is specifically states that the disciples did not believe in Jesus.
2. (Verse 9) The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up
In John chapter 2 Jesus chased the money changers out of the temple and in verse 17 it says that the disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
3. (Verse 9) The reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
Rom 15:3: “For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.”
4. (Verse 21) he says they gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
When Jesus hung on the cross it says they dipped a stick into a gall and vinegar mixture and held it up for him to drink. (Matthew 27:34, 27:48, Luke 23:36, John 19:29)
Prophesies about the suffering of Jesus
Now let’s move over to Isaiah. The book of Isaiah has numerous specific prophesies about Jesus.
Is 53:1-4 speaks of his suffering. Isaiah said he was a man acquainted with sorrow and grief and that there was no beauty in him. This speaks of the suffering Jesus endured during the crucifixion.
Then in Isaiah 53:5 it says he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
This was fulfilled in Matthew 8:17: “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”
Again 1 Peter also mentions this: 1 Pet 2:24: “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
Isaiah also prophesied the virgin birth.
Isa 7:14: “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Immanuel means God with us!
In Matthew chapter 1 the genealogy of Jesus is named and in verse 17 it says that Mary was promised to Joseph but she was found with child. Joseph wanted to put her away secretly but that night in a dream an angel quoted the above verse to him and told him that the child is the chosen one.
In Luke 1 from verse 27 it tells of Mary and how she had an encounter with the angel who told her she would conceive the Christ.
The Prophesy of Jesus’ clothes
Another very specific prophesy was about Jesus’ clothes that would be cast lots for and divided and also his hands and feet that were to be pierced. The piercing of hands and feet could have only be done through crucifixion. Here in Psalm 22 David prophesies this hundreds of years before crucifixion was ever a way of torture. It was the Roman Empire who brought about crucifixion as a method of torture and death.
Psa 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
Psa 22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
This was fulfilled in Matthew 27:35 and John 19:24.
Zachariah also prophesy this in Zec 12:10: “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”
John 19:37 Quotes this very scripture of Zachariah and hereby confirms this prophesy.
God’s Word Prophesy about YOU
Meditating on the Word of God will cause your eye to be full of light! If the eye is full of light then the whole body will be full of light. (Luke 11:34 and Matt 6:22)
The Spoken word of God can change your life, but you have to SPEAK it!
Today I want to impart into you the Prophesy of God over your life!
God says in Ephesians 2 that we were dead in sins but we are quickened together with Christ, we are saved by grace, we are raised up with Jesus and we are seated with him in heavenly places. We are created in Christ Jesus and we were created unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in it.
Romans 8:29 says that we were predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son. We were chosen to be like Christ and this is the prophesy God has spoken about us.
If we choose to speak the Word of God over our own lives then this prophesy will come to pass.
There are much more to be said here but I just want you to know the power of God’s Word.
Like everyone else I have also had my share of bad things that happened to me and while in the midst of the heat of the fire, the way it impacts me does depend on the way I am thinking. The Bible teaches that all evil is within.
Mark 7:21: “For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man unclean.”
These words of Jesus describe the same things Paul’s describes as the works of the flesh in Gal 5:19.
Thoughts like these that are above make us unclean— thoughts like these come into the heart.
The heart is the very place we have given to God. For this reason we guard the heart. (Prov 4;23)
When bad things happen to us we guard the heart from the works of the flesh.
Having received the following analogy concerning healing I am passing it along to our readers who may be in need of it. The story was for a woman who had breast cancer.
God had given this woman a beautiful house along with the owner’s manual. It was a wonderful house with the ability to repair itself. The house had an especially lovely lounge where many people came to laugh, be nurtured and enjoy the compassion of its owner who always had a open door. Its owner also had her quiet time in this room with the Lord who had given her the home where she was always thankful.
One day however a big black ugly dog entered the house standing and growling at her in her own home. The dog had wild yellow eyes and its coat was in disrepair. Patches of hair had fallen out and in its place were festering sores while it seemed that it was dragging a broken hind leg. The dog was sick, it seemed to have all kinds of sicknesses. She knew if the dog bit her she would die, she knew this because of its stinking breath. While growling it stared her right in the eye and made its way over to the sofa where it dragged itself up and made itself at home in her living room. She was afraid of the dog and dared not move except it allowed her to. The dog was always on the edge of a differing emotion. Sometimes it seemed depressed and then suddenly break out in terrible rage followed by jealousy or pride. The dog had many moods. Whenever she was allowed to make food for herself the dog would eat it. Her beautiful sofa was covered in stinking rotten hair and the puce of its decaying rottenness.
Health is so important, especially if you lost it. We all need our continual health or our Healing at some point in our lives.
I have seen so many Christians suffer from sickness and disease, I have seen so many die believing for healing. I myself, have lost my twin babies at five months while I was believing God for a miracle.
So we started searching for the truth about healing and we believe we found it.
On this page I will list everything we have written or found about healing. If you are struggling to get your health back I am encouraging you to put the time and effort into reading and listening to all the things I am listing below. This will not only encourage and strengthen you but it will renew your mind to the point where your health will spring forth speedily! (Isa 58:8)
It is God’s will for you to be healed and live in divine health!
Ron’s Letters on Healing:
This is a list of the monthly letters Ron van Zyl has written over the last year about the subject of healing. You can subscribe to our letters and receive them in your inbox or you can click on the ‘Monthly letters’ to read all of them.
I have compiled a list of healing scriptures for you. Click here to download it: Health.pdf
Here is Kenneth Copeland’s List of 101 Healing scriptures. I have copied it from their website. I encourage you to also visit his website and get all the free resources they have available.
Curry Blake:
John G Lake Ministries is now led by Curry Blake. Curry has his own testimonies of losing a Child and then raising a second one from the dead. He is now the general overseer of John G Lake Ministries. John G Lake is now long dead but he was one of the most successful healing ministers of his time. He performed Millions of healings and even trained others to do it also. John G Lake knew the secrets to divine healing and Curry Blake is now training others to become healing ministers. Curry has a success rate of 98% and he has built a network of people around the world. He calls his network Life Teams. You can become a part of his network by visiting their website. They also have many resources available there.
His Website is https://www.jglm.org
We have done the training by Curry and it has helped us tremendously. The following link below will take you to a training seminar called the DHT. In the last session, Curry lets the people who were at the training pray for the sick people. He teaches you practically how to pray for the sick and also takes the time to get rid of the wrong concepts we have about healing.
This PDF is the training manual for the Divine Healing Technician training. It contains important scripture references used during the training I listed above.
Personally, after I did the Divine healing technician training the New Man Training has meant the most to me. The New Man training gives you insight into who you are in Christ and helps you with the renewing of your Mind. At the end of the day God already knows who you are, it is our minds that need to be renewed.
Andrew Wommack has the Charis Bible school and he too teaches on Healing and helps us to eliminate those Holy Cows that are hindering our healing. Andrew has seen his son and his Wife raised from the dead and has been ministering healing to people for 30 years.
His Website contains a big list of free audio sets and you can find many of his books in our stores here in South Africa. He also has an office here in our county and a Bible school.
He has a training set called A BETTER WAY TO PRAY which has helped me a lot. This will assist in renewing your mind and also an Audio set on GOD WANTS YOU WELL.
You can go directly to his website here. www.awmi.net
I am still addressing the subject of healing and trying to lay bare holy cows. This month I would like to write about ancestral curses. I have heard people say that sicknesses are inherited.
“This person is sick because their parents or family had the same problem”.
I have heard this said of cancer for instance. As it happens we have scripture that cancels this theory out completely
(NIV)Ezekiel 18:2-4 “What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel: “‘The fathers eat sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’? “As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel. For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son—both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who will die.”
This is saying that each person is held responsible for their personal soul.
Sayings like these cause strongholds in our minds. I have heard people say “because my Dad had it so will I…” You will most certainly have it if you believe the lie and speak it.
September 2020 – The Knowledge of Christ causes all things
Ron wrote:
How wonderful it must have been for the disciples when they saw that the demons obeyed them and all the sick were healed! I have been writing on the subject of healing for the past three months. Catch up on them if you missed them.
Do you realize that you are the disciples of Jesus. You have exactly the same power the disciples had. You have it now! The only thing that keeps us from laying hands on the sick is that it did not always work in the past.
2 Pet 1:3: “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue…”
Working the works of God is ministering healing and life but above all; it is the knowledge of Christ in us that causes divine healing and life.
Eph 1:17: “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.”
These 15 secrets of John G. Lake, which I wrote to you last month, start with holy cows and traditions of men which is the singular greatest stumbling block to faith. I have been giving this a lot of thought and believe that the problem is that we tend to read between the lines of the Bible and make up our own ideas while we should only be reading the Bible and believing whatever is written there.
For instance, Jesus healed everyone without asking about sin in their lives. To keep the healing they needed to be disciplined. When people do not heal after we pray for them we tend to say they did not have faith. This however was not a requirement with Jesus because He healed them with His faith and so it should be with us. To develop this kind of faith that heals when you lay hands on the sick (Mark 16) is what we should be after.
The purpose of this magnet is to remind you of God’s covenant promise!
Abraham and Isaac Fridge Magnet. Size: 10cmx 10cm
“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
Genesis 12:2-3
This Magnet features Abraham holding the knife ready to kill his son, Isaac. In the background you see some stars. Isaac was the Star child. Read more about this in the next paragraph. In the bottom left you see the ram. The Ram was offered in stead of Isaac, just like Jesus Christ was sacrificed on our behalf.
The Star Promise
There are many things that can be told about Abraham. That he was the Father of Faith, the Father of many nations or that he was a Blessed man of God.
The very first promise God made to Abraham was that his descendants would be as many as the Stars of heaven and also that his descendants would be as many as the sand of the earth. In my dad’s Books (Room with a view, Book 5) he draws the pictures of these stories. He drew a man in the dessert who looked up towards the stars and he drew the same man again looking down towards the sand. He says in his book that Abraham had a ‘Looking up’ promise (Stars) and a ‘looking down’ promise (Sand). He got Ishmael by looking down. By trying to accomplish the promise of God through his own means. He got Isaac by looking up and trusting God to fulfill His promise and perform the miracle they needed.
Just as Isaac represented the Star promise, it was obvious that it should be Isaac that must be sacrificed. When Abraham was ready to sacrifice Isaac, God stopped him. Isaac was the son of the promise and Abraham even believed that God would raise him from the dead. (Hebrews 11:19) And thousands of years later Jesus Christ was welcomed on the day of his birth by that special star that stood above the manger where he was born. The Star signifying the Star promise. That from out of Jesus Christ many sons will be born.
The Blessing
You can read the story of Abraham and Isaac in Genesis 12 through to 22.
If you know the story of Abraham you will remember that he was tempted of God. In Genesis 22 God told Abraham to go and sacrifice Isaac. Abraham obeyed God and as he was about to kill Isaac the angel of the Lord stopped him. And again this is what the angel of the Lord told him:
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Genesis 22:16 to 18
Did you notice the last part of both the promises? In Abraham shall all the families of the earth be blessed and the second verse all the nations of the earth be blessed. This includes all of us. We are all part of this promise. Because Abraham was willing to give his son to God, God gave his only Son to the world.
When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we enter into the covenant promise of divine blessing. In Christ we are blessed, in Christ we are more than conquerors, in Christ we are saved from this world and it corruptions.
Circumsision on the eigth day
When Ishmael was 13 years old God came to Abraham again and re-confirmed his covenant with Abraham. (Genesis 17) God told Abraham to circumcise every male among his people and that circumcision would be the sign of the covenant.
Circumcision is referred to as cutting the flesh. In Ephesians 2 Paul says that we should be circumcised in our hearts, cutting away the old man and be made new, unto the Image of Christ.
That is why we use the Cross of Jesus Christ as the door unto the Father in Heaven. When we lay down our lives as Jesus laid down his life we lay down the flesh. (Will, intellect, emotions and feelings) We are partaking of the circumcision of the heart.
So my prayer over this magnet as I was making it was that you will remember the Covenant promise you have with God. That He is for you and not against you and that he will always provide what you need!
David who were tending sheep and suddenly was anointed as King.
The same David who did not have the outward appearance of a King.
David who wrote 75 Psalms in the Bible, who played a harp and who was A MAN AFTER THE HEART OF GOD….I could go on and on about David.
David made mistakes and David was an ordinary man like any of us. The One thing that made David extraordinary was his FAITH in God.
David never backed down from a fight. He always trusted God for everything he needed. Weather it was victory, safety or provision, God was his refuge. Just read the Psalms and you will know that David knew God was with him.
That is the message I want to bring acros to you with this new magnet I made.
On the Magnet you will see the Bear, The Lion and the Giant. When David stood before King Saul seeking approval to fight Goliath this is what he said:
1 Sameul 17:37: “David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.”
David remembered what God had done for him in the past, we should also remember our past victories. We keep our faith high by remembering! We encourage ourselves for what lies ahead by remembering what God has done previously and that He never changes and will do it again! God is faithfull!
That is the main problem the Israelite’s had. They never remembered what God did for them in the past and they always got discouraged by murmuring and looking at the problem instead of believing God for what He has done!
Remember what God has done!
With this magnet I want to encourage you to REMEMBER what God has done for you! When we remember we become Victorious. Also at the bottom of the magnet you will see the Crown. David’s victories eventually caused him to become King. A King has to be victorious. We are kings and Priests of God. We are to be overcomers over every problem the enemy throws at us. Like David was anointed to be king years before he actually became king, so are we. When we gave our hearts to Jesus he made us kings with Him. Just like David we should be victorious in order for us to grow up into our kingship. Understand that all things were put under our feet (Eph 1:23) and nothing shall by any means harm us! (Luke 10:19)
Why did David pick up 5 Stones?
I once watched a testimony of a well known Afrikaans singer. He was going through a tough financial time and was playing in the Church band. He said he was feeling very down and discouraged but got up and went to Church. At Church an old Lady got hold of him and told him to be like David! Being down he said to the old Lady. But David picked up 5 stones and he only needed one! Even David had doubts! No! Replied the lady, ‘You don’t read your Bible son!’ Goliath had a Brother and 3 Sons who were giants too! David picked up 5 stones for 5 Giants but God slayed the rest. David only had to kill one!
At the bottom of my magnet you will see David’s hand holding his five stones and slingshot around his arm.
Today I give you 5 stones:
If God is for you who can be against you? Romans 8:31
All things that pertain unto life and godliness has been given unto us! 1 Peter 1:3
In all things we are more than conquerors through Christ that loved us. Romans 8:36
God has not given us a spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
Nothing can separate us from the Love of God. Romans 8:39
The past year I have been studying the work of John G. Lake as presented by Curry Blake at JGLM.org. Curry learnt about healing from Doctor Lester Sumrall who in turn learnt from Smith Wigglesworth. John G. Lake not only healed people in the name of Jesus but taught them how to do it. I have gleamed the following points from Curry’s work and have found a remarkable change in my own life which I hope to pass on to our readers.
I am writing the points down exactly the way John G. Lake did it while knowing that our readers realise the importance of having a clear conscience by the blood of Jesus before taking authority over the work of Satan.
I would suggest that you copy these 15 points below and read them over and over.
These are the 15 points that are changing our lives.
15 SECRETS OF DIVINE HEALING
1. Destroy sacred cows concerning traditions and religions. “By your traditions you make the word of God of none effect.” Mark 7:13 (You will know what your sacred cows are as you take each of the following points to heart)
2. Recognize sickness, disease and aches and pains as the enemy that must be defeated. We are against these as we learn to become violent against it. 1 Pet 2:22, Matt 8:16-17 We must eliminate these and live in divine health.
3. Get fed up! (I’m done with sickness! I shall never be sick another day of my life!) HATE SICKNESS, side with God against it. Command sickness to go and never beg for healing. In Christ you have authority over all sickness. You were healed. 1 Pet 2:24, Col 2:9-10
4. Treat all sickness and disease the same. It is all the Devil, headaches and cancers are to be treated the same.
5. Treat all sickness like a living being or entity. Talk with it with a voice of command Speak to it, it will obey! The Devil cannot resist you!!!! Never back down.
6. Do not pray for people, command the Devil to leave. You do not need God’s permission. God’s will is that all people be healed.
7. Speak to the problem not to others about the problem. Tell the problem what God says about it.
8. Speak to people like oppressed prisoners of war. Is 61:1-3 Set the captives free. Get them free then disciple them. (Jesus healed everyone)
9. Get clean and stay clean. (Guard your heart have a clear conscience so you can have confidence.)
10. Stay out of pride. Live by the fruit of the Spirit. You are not special merely God’s tool to heal the sick. Believe the word and make the Devil mad. Now stand there don’t run after other fads. You have an anointing that abides anyone can heal the sick.
11. Develop aggression against sin sickness and the Devil. The wages of sin is death.
12. Be led by God’s character and nature. The sons of God are led by the Spirit of God.
13. Accept responsibility for your fellow man. We are sent to heal.
14. Decide to obey the Bible. We have the ministry of reconciliation. We enforce the will of God. (Let thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.) Be obedient to lay hands on people. Mark 16.
Do not obey feelings because feelings are subject to change.
15. Know God is with you. Emmanuel. God is for you-for the oppressed.

What is this letter?
Dear Reader. This is a monthly e-mail letter which was sent out to our subscribers on the date indicated in the header. You can find an archive of previous letters on our Monthly E-mails tab.

Usually we only send these mails to persons who have visited us and have been into our Man Made Cave: The Alpha Omega Cave, to whom we have shared our revelation about The Line. If you have not visited us in person you can watch a video of our Cave tour. In doing so you will be able to understand our letters much better. Please leave your comments! We love to hear from you!
I have been thinking about sharing this specific testimony for some time now.
There are many testimonies I can give, there are many things I have been saved from and I could tell you about any of them but being saved from being Lesbian is a private matter I have never shared but somehow I have been pressed to tell you about it.
So if you think this is something your friends or other young teenage girls should know, then please share it along and let us hope it has some meaning.
Growing up in a Christian home I was taught all the basics of life. What is acceptable and what is not. Same sex relationships was definitely one of those topics I was taught on. So when it finally became an issue in my life I was so torn between my feelings and the law I was taught as a child.
There are many reasons why young people lean towards same sex relationships and I do not intent to describe any of the reasons or act as I may know it all. I believe the reason this was triggered in my own life was because of being molested at a young age. As young 6 year old I told my parents what happened but it was waved off. Eventually at age 16, because of a series of events, it was like the experience suddenly triggered my subconscious and it threw me into an emotional outbreak I could not control. Suddenly everything in my life was wrong and everyone in my life was treating me unfair. I had the need to talk about the experience and I wanted justice. I was told by my father to stop allowing my emotions to control me, to take it to the cross and deal with it. It was long past and there would be no profit in bringing it up now. The guilty person was married with Children by now and there is no point in destroying his life.
Being the private person I am, I did just that. Or… thought I did…. at least.
At this point I had given my heart to Jesus and I was really trying to make a difference in people’s lives. Every person I met, I told about Jesus. I had made a decision that I would not be having sex before marriage. I made sure that every man I met knew this before they even tried getting to know me. I was seeking after the truth and I was seeking to know God. I truly meant it. But my mind was telling me all sorts of other things. My mind was telling me that men were weak, they were only ruled by their sexual desires and did not care about young girls the way they are supposed to. As I grew more and more bitter and raged I would test my new found knowledge on the men I met. I was disappointed by them time and time again. Some guys I befriended became Gay, others became fathers before getting married, others just became fathers and ran away, others cheated and lied. Others acted like they wanted to get to know me and really cared but then wanted sex. I found myself to be disgusted by men. I did not have many female friends, it seemed that I was always surrounded by men. In my lonely times I would catch myself thinking about the female body. As an artist I did not think it was wrong, as my own father owned anatomy book showing the man and female bodies in different poses. After a while I realized it was becoming a problem. I was adamant on living right and trying my best to be an example to others. Secretly I was struggling with sexual desires and knowing that I could meet the needs of another woman much better than any man I knew. I desired someone to meet my physical and emotional needs and knew that no man could ever do that for me.
I was completely consumed by my desire to be fulfilled and I was convinced that I could do this for someone else. Living on the farm being far away from other people and friends, I spent allot of time on my own and with God. One day I read Romans 1. The entire Romans 1 explains how people have forsaken the knowledge of the truth and have believed the lies Satan told them. So much so that they started worshiping the creature instead of the Creator!
Rom 1:24-26: “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:”
That part about worshiping the creature and not the Creator really caught my attention. This scripture hit me like an arrow. Instantly I knew that I was being deceived by the lust of my own flesh. My emotions were controlling me. I was desiring to be comforted emotionally and even physically and I was being led by my flesh. God does not desire me to be comforted in my flesh or in my emotions. Emotions lead us astray. Our emotions make us believe that no one cares about us and makes us fall into self pity and self righteousness.
That is exactly what I was, I was self righteous. I believed that the Creature (my own body and emotional needs) were more important than my Creator God. Shortly after, God revealed to me that no man can fulfill another and that a relationship is not built on emotions and what Hollywood tells us in movies. There is no such thing as falling in love, then falling out of Love, then getting a divorce because he does not love me the way I am supposed to be loved. We think people should treat us holy. We think we deserve to feel appreciated and loved. The fact is we are supposed to live for others and not for ourselves, do unto others as we would want done unto us.
Jesus Christ died for us on a cross and he did not feel appreciated, loved or cared for when he did that. Jesus did not come to earth and went through all the suffering because he felt like it. He did it because he Loved us. My dad has this saying: Love is not a feeling it is an act of your will.
He has another saying too: Love is verb. You have to work to love.
God is unchanging and ever faithful. God said he will never leave us and never forsake us and he said he Loves us. He will not change his mind and he will not fall out of love with us. We are to be like God. We should choose to love someone and then keep our word, be faithful and work towards love.
To all the teenagers and people who are struggling with the same things which I have listed in this writing: I want to encourage you. Seek God! Seek the Kingdom of God and all else shall be added! Seek God and he will fill you with all the love you will ever need. Do not seek love, attention and acceptance from people. People will fail you. But God’s love will never fail you.
If you have given yourself over to the lust of your flesh and have fallen into any kind of sin, I encourage you now to submit yourself to God. Ask Him for forgiveness and receive the full love he has for you. There is no sin too big for God to forgive. God wants to pour out his love on you! Do not remove yourself from his love any longer!
That night when God revealed to me that I was desiring something that was not His will for me, I repented. I had to forgive the Molester. I had to forgive the men who I thought did not treat me as I deserved. I had to forgive myself for being ruled by my own self righteousness. I stood at the foot of the Cross that night, I used communion and I buried my fleshly body in the Cross with Jesus Christ. I was saved from the lust of my flesh.
I was 21 at the time this happened. Shortly after doors opened for me and I went overseas for two years. I had plenty of opportunities to act on those thoughts I had before, but I never once desired to be fulfilled by another person again. I was truly saved from myself. Had God not saved me that night, I would have been a bitter, self centred, prideful Lesbian today. I would have hurt my family and disappointed my friends. I would have lived in sin and I would have been proud of it.
I have met many Lesbian and Guy people over time. Every time I spend time with them I can identify with them. Like I once was, so are they.
The imaginations and thoughts of the heart are meant to be in use. It is not meant to lay dormant for emergencies only. If it is not in use we are limiting God in the things He wishes us to bring forth by faith. We should be continually growing in all areas and should be living exiting lives where we believe for things we would have thought impossible in the past. The present political situation in our country, challenges in our health and family should be a challenge to overcome in our minds to not live in it but above it.
Deut 30:19: “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live:”
I believe that all our readers have the understanding that the imagination can bring forth the things we really desire. God has given each one of us imaginations and thoughts of the heart. He has made a way for man to be supernaturally provided for. In Gen 6:5 God destroyed the earth because the above mentioned thoughts and imaginations of the heart was continually evil . The imaginations were not in use to bring forth good but evil.
As we can see the place inside of us, is the heart of man which has also been identified as the conscience. For the sake of understanding this letter let us call it the “IMAGERY”. This is of course the kingdom of God in us.
This is the place in us we used to play in as children, in our imagination.
I am sure that each one of our readers have managed to bring things out of the imagery. Anything we really have need of can be seen in the imagery, and if we can do this continually those desires of the heart will come because God promises it. This place inside us is like soil that when it has been properly prepared we can sow a seed in it and expect the power of the soil of the imagery to bring forth whatever we have imagined. Eph 3:22
