How to get the River of the Spirit flowing

In the Old Testament God spoke through his prophets about this day that the Spirit of God would live inside his people. This Spirit is the power of life, it is life. Jesus could do no miracles until the Spirit of the Lord came upon Him. Once the Spirit came upon Him, he became like Isaiah prophesied; The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, he has anointed me to preach good tidings, bind up the brokenhearted, and set the captives free. (Luke 4:18 and Isa 61:1) Once the Spirit came upon Him, he could heal the sick and do great miracles to show the will of God on the earth. God’s will is that all be healed and be provided for. God wants us to enjoy our lives and the wonders of nature. We are compared to nature and we are supposed to become like it.

With the Spirit of God in us, we would become like watered gardens, like wells of living water. I believe that many believers have been given the Spirit the same way Jesus received it, but are not walking in the power of the Spirit. The Word of God was written by the Spirit, by the hands of people who made themselves available to the Spirit. The prophets saw this generation and described us as a chosen generation of kings, priests, and prophets. That the Holy Spirit would guide us continually and satisfy our souls in drought, make strong our bones and we would be like watered gardens like fountains of water and wells of living water.

We have fountains that run with a pump in our gardens. This fountain of waters that is life and life abundantly is forever flowing and is the life of God that heals and provides all we need. No one knows how it works. He who meditates the Word of God, day and night, is like a tree planted by the streams of water (Ps 1). To get my river to flow I start early in the morning with Psalm 103 and see where my healing comes from. If you meditate on the Word of God it is as if new understanding comes from just thinking what each word means.

Ps 103:1: “Bess the Lord all my soul and all that is within me.”

It sounds a lot like the First Commandment. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and everything in you.

Then he names the benefits of doing this –

Ps 103:3: “He forgives my sins AND HEALS ME!”

Remember these words were written by the Holy Spirit. The way to get healed and be provided for is by having a clear conscience.

Ps 103:4: “…He crowns me with loving kindness and tender mercies.”

We are filled with the understanding that God loves us dearly. We are crowned with the knowledge that we are sons and daughters of God to rule over our bodies and thoughts with the Word of God.

Ps 103:5:  “He fills my mouth with good things…”

If we speak the Word and meditate on it continually we become like the fountain of gardens of living water. Finally, he says that he “Restores our youth like the eagles”.

Pro 4:10:  “Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.”

Pro 4:22:  “Keep my words, For they are life unto those that find them, and health unto all their flesh.”

Pro 4:23:  “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and now lives inside us to guide us continually and satisfy our souls in drought. He makes strong my bones and He makes me like a watered garden like a spring of living water. (Isa 58:11) The physical Tabernacle is where the presence of God was with the people in the wilderness. Today we are the tabernacle of God. In the morning we go to the outer court and have our sins dealt with at the cross where we use Communion.

After this, we go to the Holy place to honor the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit looks like Jesus and is the Spirit of Christ. He waits for us in our favorite garden and teaches us all things. He is the one who inspires us and guides us if we will only give Him time. Read Paul’s prayer in Eph 1;17: That we should have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation of the power that we possess in Christ. We have an unction from God to know all things. It is important to honor the Holy Spirit and live in his peace. After this, we go to the Holy of Holies to walk in the courts of God, bathe in the great fountain of life, and be thankful for the Love of God.

Does this help you to become a fountain of the living waters of God?

How to Crucify Problems

I have recently noticed how people who have been on the cave tour still do not use the cross in the correct way. Please give me the opportunity to explain it in the simplest possible way.

I have explained that the Lord taught me to see the conscience as the surface of a lake when it is wind-still and calm. The conscience, like the water surface, reflects heaven, like a mirror. All of us have been this calm many times in our lives, it is when we are in contact with God. However, the phone rings, and as the problems appear, our calmness disappears. The water surface becomes stormy and our hearts become troubled. This is a sinful heart. Jesus walked on the storm and calmed it with a spoken word. With this miracle, He showed me that he would give his life so that he could bring peace in our hearts and this is why they called Him the Prince of Peace.

Sometimes we forget that Jesus came to save us and give us peace.

He saves us from the storms so we can live in peace. Jesus gave his life on the cross so that we can be saved. There is no other religion where someone gave his life so we can live in peace in a Christ mind. Bad things have happened to all people, and we have compassion with people, but did you know you can be saved from those bad things?

Yet we still choose to look at the problem. We pray about the problems and we even try to give it to God, but after our prayer time we talk about the problem again and allow our frustrations to rule us, we have no peace. All the while Jesus died so that we can have peace, in the hearts of God’s loving children.

I use the word ‘children’ because if you are still praying this childish way it’s time to grow up and become a son and daughter of God. We are supposed to rule in the earth. We do not talk about the problem, we tell it to throw itself in the sea! We lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. We do not listen to our feelings and emotions, we tell the feelings and emotions how they feel.

So come let’s use the cross. In the morning draw a line across the middle of a page and place the cross right in the middle. Below the line, you wright down those things that must be crucified. Now enter your prayer closet and close the door behind you. Get your communion elements ready and ask the Lord to bless the bread and the wine and say: “I WILL DIE TO THE FLESH AND RISE IN THE SPIRIT IN THE SAME WAY JESUS DID.”

Inside your heart room is calvary, you can see the blood footprints of Jesus going up the hill to the top. If you look around you will see an old cross laying in your heart garden, go and pick it up and follow Jesus. We are going to Luke 9:23.

Luk 9:23:  “Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”

The teaching is that we must lay down our life—daily! In Romans 12:2 we become a living sacrifice so that our minds must renew.

As I do introspection I know which things must be crucified. If the problem is a person, then crucify the person and name the things in the person that are offending you. If the problem is a person with an unruly tongue like a ship on the ocean without a rudder then crucify that tongue. If it is pride, then imagine what they look like when they are proud and arrogant and crucify them. If it is a sickness in the body then crucify that part of the body. Give these things a lot of thought. Let the Holy Spirit point out the things that are stealing your peace. Do this while you are eating the communion bread.

While crucifying in this way you are doing Galatians 5:25. If you struggle with the flesh crucify it!

Do not leave the cross until you experience a release in your spirit. Then drink the wine and now  (Heb 10:22)  let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.        You need this washing!

When we drink the blood of Christ we are saved from the problems. The blood is a seal for our conscience and falls on the surface of our hearts, cleansing and sealing us, causing a division between flesh and spirit. You are now saved to live in the above, in the spirit. We now live in Christ. We are saved, we have the helmet of salvation. Continue to put on the rest of the armor of Ephesians 6. You are now above the problem, in Christ. You are seated with Christ in Heavenly places (Eph 1:3) and the problems are under our feet. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me. (Gal 2:20)

All of this happened in the outer court. When you leave the outer court close the door behind you, sealing it with the blood of Jesus, just like the Israelites had to seal their doors in Egypt. The work of Calvary is sealed in your heart. The problem is crucified, God and all of heaven will sort it out. Now we enter into the Holy Place, where we stand in thanksgiving before our Father. Thank you, Father, you have saved me! You are now saved and the rest of your day is spent giving thanks to God who saves His people. YOU ARE FREE IN CHRIST!!

If it should happen that the problem comes back into your mind today then speak to it in the same way Jesus spoke to the devil. Say it is written, and in this way fill your mind with the Word of God. Find all those scriptures that give you authority over the works of the enemy and memorize it and fill your mind with life. Tomorrow morning ask the Holy Spirit to show you what you forgot to crucify.

This is the way we guard the heart. Prov 4:23

When we enter in, correctly we can stand in the presence of God every day, where we can take up our authority and speak to the mountain in every area of our lives daily. Here is the link to the Twelve Room Prayer that will guide you further into praying with authority about every area of your life.

How to Guard the heart (Part 1)

Part one of How to Keep the Heart.

In Revelation 3:21 we are told that the ultimate goal that we achieve as believers are to be overcomers and to be seated with Christ in heavenly places. Most people believe this to be a future event.

In this first email of 2023, I would like to bring this overcoming in Christ into the here and now.

I believe that all people can have a heavenly mind or a hell of a mind, right here on earth. We don’t need an overcoming mind in heaven, there is nothing to overcome there. We need to learn to overcome here, on earth, daily -IN CHRIST!

This means that the troubles of the world are not our problem. Our problem is to keep our own minds and stay in the rest. This compares to having a Sunday every day.

We have authority in Christ, we can do what he did and even greater. This means that we can speak to our minds in the same way Jesus spoke to the earthly things. He walked on a physical storm and then calmed it by speaking to it. If we are in Christ we speak to the storms inside ourselves in His name. Because He did it we can do it.

Jesus is called the prince of Peace. He gave His life so that we can live in peace right here on the earth today.

Peace in the heart is God’s gift to all mankind. However, how will we keep this peace? Can anyone keep their mind free from the chaos outside there?

Firstly you must understand that God lives inside people. He lives in the heart of man along with all of heaven. The heart is the Kingdom of God. If you gave your heart to God He lives in you.

The ‘heart’ the Bible refers to, is not the physical heart in your chest, it is in the imaginations and thoughts of the heart. (Gen.6:5) The heart of man is the conscience. God comes to live in us when we give our hearts to God. That is the best day of our lives. However, we must now learn to guard the heart against sinful thoughts. God is in us, but so is our sinful nature. The sinful nature is called the ‘Flesh’ in the Bible, also carnality, the devil or Satan.  Our problem is within us! (Mark 7:21)

As we learn to get to know God with our hearts we come under greater attack from our old nature. Our feelings begin to complain and want to go back into our thoughts to occupy our minds. Negative emotions become hard to deal with along with our intellect and our will. We must learn to die to these things that are in us. The Bible points to these things as being in the body. Paul calls it the Fruit of the Flesh in Galatians 5.

This is the reason why Jesus was crucified, hands and feet. When we use communion we eat the flesh of Christ and drink His blood. He overcome all mental anguish in the garden of Gethsemane and perspired blood. He overcame all the terrible things the priests and the Roman soldiers did to Him. Everything they did to Him was so unfair yet he never complained or cursed them, in fact, he prayed for them. He said they don’t know what they are doing.

He gave His back willingly to be torn apart at the whipping post so that we never have to be sick again and then He was crucified to die a criminal’s death. He did all this so we can follow him daily. We can take those bad thoughts that came into us yesterday and we can crucify them. I use my imagination, I know what I look like when I am angry, and Jesus helps me to crucify that bad part of myself. While doing this I eat the Body of Jesus (Communion). I can crucify anything that steals my peace and the Spirit of Jesus is there to help me. When I have dealt with my flesh and know what I am saved from, I drink the blood of Jesus and then He sprinkles my thoughts from an evil conscience. (Heb.10:22)

I never miss my daily appointment to have a clear conscience, in the way described above.

In this way, we overcome the enemy and go ahead and have a great day. If your conscience is clear you can pray to God with confidence that He answers prayers. Because sin has been dealt with.

Next month we will continue with Part 2, on How to guard the heart.

Why are my prayers unanswered?

July 2022

Feeling like our prayers go unanswered is one of the main reasons Christians get discouraged and lose their faith in God. You don’t know what could be wrong? How can God not fulfill His own promises? The Word says that God forgives our sins and heals our diseases, no pest or plague shall come near us, no evil shall befall us and so many other scriptures with the same promises. My own question was why did I have to undergo the humiliation of that operation if I was believing for my healing?

Yes, the operation I went through did come with its own set of testimonies and wonderful mercy and grace which I can testify of, but still, the question remains: Why did I not receive my healing?

First I must hold before you Romans 8:17: “Although we share in the glory of Christ we also share in His suffering.”

The hardships we go through cause us to grow spiritually. We grow according to the increase of the knowledge of God in us. In my own case the long sick bed and operation I faced caused me to grow in the knowledge of Christ in me.

I had a vision after coming out of the theater. I saw Jesus dancing with happiness. He kept on dancing and as I watched it seemed like his face transformed into the face of my brother who died years ago. My brother and I looked very much alike. As Jesus kept on dancing and twirling, his face kept changing back and forth into his own face and then into my brother’s face. After this vision, I was led to understand that I am in Christ and He is in me. The day that this knowledge of Christ in me is revealed to the children of God it is a glorious day in heaven! That is why Jesus was so happy and dancing.  At last, Christ has come in you! This is the purpose of our life on earth! (Gal 2:20, Col 3:3)

When I use communion in the morning I see my Old Self crucified on the cross, just like Jesus sacrificed himself for me, to die daily. Then I rise with Him too, it is no longer I who live but Christ in me! ‘I am hid in Christ’. My life is hidden in Christ, I do what He did. I lay my hands on the sick and they are healed. (Mark 16) I speak to the Mountain and it is removed and thrown into the sea! Nothing shall be impossible to me. (Matt. 7) I am the righteousness of Christ, for I am in Christ. This is what we are meant to do on the earth.

Every day that we are not living and acting like Jesus did we are wasting our time on earth.

I took this all very seriously and meditated on it deeply. I know that this knowledge would not have materialized in me if it was not for the suffering. Furthermore, I still wanted to get answers from The Father. My question was why I did not receive my healing after asking Him to heal me? Jesus said in John 14 that we must ask the Father and He will give us what we ask. Still, I also prayed and spoke the Word of God continually as I know I have had success in speaking the Word before. Then again according to Mark 11:23 we should speak to the mountain. This felt so contradicting. I asked the Lord when should I ask and when should I speak?

After spending time in the Garden I heard the Holy Spirit say: If you don’t know what to do in a situation you ask for wisdom when you know what to do then you speak to the problem, like Mark 11:23-25.

Furthermore, I also learned WHERE you should speak to the problem. We use the Twelve Room prayer. (Click on this link for the free Prayer booklet) We use this prayer to enter into the outer Court where you die to our soulish nature and are washed with the blood of Jesus for a clean conscience. After this, we honor the Holy Spirit in the Holy Place and then move on to The Most Holy Place or the Throne of God where we come into the presence of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in front of thousands of angels and the cloud of witnesses. (Heb 12:22)

Now in the Court of God is where I speak, while I am speaking and declaring the rivers of healing will start flowing from the Throne into the areas into which we are sending it.

In the Courts of God, we are citizens of heaven and fellow heirs of all things. Why would God give us entrance into His Courts if we are not meant to stand there and speak? Why are we given citizenship if we are not meant to be like Jesus? (Eph 2:6) We should speak in heavenly places where we are enthroned with Christ. Many people say we cannot send Angels around, but why does everything I declare in this way happen exactly as I say it should? Because the angels are meant to accomplish God’s Word.

David also mentions these Courts of God. The Courts (more than one) are different rooms of the Twelve Room Prayer into which we go to organize our thoughts and pray in tongues according to the subject of each room.

After receiving wisdom about my situation I go into the Courts of God and declare with Authority the Word of God, sending forth the Angels with the same power Jesus had and also gave us. We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in the heavens in Christ Jesus. (Eph 1:3)

I hope this gives you a new perspective on growing up in Christ. Please comment and share your story.

Are you overcome by Fear?

A Person who have gone through our Alpha Omega Cave some months ago phoned us with a fearful, shaking, timed voice. She is being tortured by overcoming voices, nagging and bringing up the past, like a tape playing over and over. When she tries to have quiet time it gets worse and she does not know if it is from God. She is afraid and nervous, the tension makes her shake so much that she cannot do her work. She is affecting her colleges and they have moved her to a separate room.

I am sure that there are many others who are being affected this way. Perhaps you know someone who is in the same state. It might be that you are praying with someone who is not overcoming nervous problems or illnesses of some kind.

It is should categorically be established that the things mentioned above is not from God.

We know from the Lord’s Prayer that the will of God must come to earth and it must be in earth as it is in heaven. How is it in heaven? Stop thinking that God wants bad things to happen to you, God is good. Go read about the character of God in Galatian 5:22. God is love, joy peace, longsuffering. God loves us. God is love. He sent Jesus to show His character, which is to heal all the sick, and free the oppressed no matter what your sin is or what your problem is.

If fear has come into you in such a way that it is destroying your life it is because fear is in your heart. You have a fearful heart. But you have already given your heart to Jesus.

All the above is a result of a guilty conscience. The heart is the conscience.

YOU MUST LEARN TO GAURD YOUR HEART!

We take thoughts captive, we do introspection. What thoughts came into your heart? Now that you know that negative thoughts are not from God we should deal with them. You deal with them in the same way you deal with an unwanted aggressive dog in your home. It’s time to put your foot down and chase that dog out with your God given authority. Notice the words ‘Violent’ and ‘Force’ in the next verse.

Mat. 11:12:  “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”

The Biblical way of dealing with negative thoughts feelings and emotions is to know that the Bible calls it the flesh. Gal 5:19 the works of the flesh is every bad feeling, thought and emotion. Jesus overcome the flesh at Calvary. Unfortunately He did not take it out of us, but we overcome them in the same way He did.

In Gal 5:25 we are taught how to do it. It says if you struggle with the flesh, CRUSIFY it!

This is what we do when we use communion. When we eat the bread we eat the flesh of Christ. Because He overcame the flesh we can do the same. Read Luke 9:23. Now comes the most important part. Drink the wine, which is the blood of Jesus.

Heb 10:22:  “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”

If those thoughts dare to come back you bombard them with this scripture. Your conscience is blood washed You are sealed against death thoughts in the same way the Israelites were saved from death in Egypt because they applied the blood of the lamb of God  to their door posts. All day you meditate on the meaning of the blood of Jesus and the work of the cross and you will be free and you will know how to remain free and saved from the wicket, evil, nature of the sinful man.

Communion – The Fridge magnet

The Communion

This magnet features Jesus holding the elements, the wine and the bread up near his face. I suppose this is what it would have looked like on the night of Pentecost when Jesus served his Disciples with communion.

He broke the bread, blessed it and said take eat this is my flesh. After the meal he took the cup and said this is my blood of the New Testament, (new Covenant) which is shed for the remission of sins.

This Last Supper event is described in Matthew 26:27, Mark 14:23 and Luke 22:17.

The book of John is the only one who does not record the breaking of the bread during the Last Supper. John 13 does however record Jesus washing the disciples feet. Jesus rose up after they finished the meal (After serving them the communion) he laid his garments aside, poured water into a basin and started washing his disciples feet. When he came to Simon Peter, Peter first asked why he was washing their feet and then Peter did not want Jesus to wash his feet. Jesus replied in John 13:8: “If I wash thee not thy has no part of me”.

The whole idea of the Communion is so that we can have part in the work that Jesus accomplished for us. In John 6 Jesus mentions this a number of times;

John 6:51:  I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

If we eat of Him we have life!

John 6:52- 56:  “The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.”

If we eat the body of Jesus and drink his blood, he dwells in me and I in him!

The exact work that Jesus accomplished on the cross is so vast! It is almost too big to describe. Every Christian should spend time meditating on the the work of the Cross. Derek Prince had a booklet out called ‘The Divine Exchange.

The free download to this book can be found at the bottom of this page. On the very first page of the book Derek states one can only receive from the Cross to the extend one understands the cross.

These are the 10 points he makes in his booklet:

  1. Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven.
  2. Jesus was wounded that we might be healed.
  3. Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might be made righteous with his righteousness.
  4. Jesus died our death that we might share his life.
  5. Jesus was made a curse that we might receive the blessing.
  6. Jesus endured our poverty that we might share his abundance.
  7. Jesus bore our shame that we might share his glory.
  8. Jesus endured our rejection that we might have his acceptance with the Father.
  9. Jesus was cut off by death that we might be joined to God eternally.
  10. Our old man was put to death in him that the new man might come to life in us.

Questions about Communion

Praise God for Paul, he is faithful in answering all the questions we have about communion. In 1 Corinthians chapter 10 and 11 Paul has a lengthy discussion about how to use the communion. If you read all the accounts of the Last Supper as I mentioned above you will see that the breaking of the bread was part of the meal. They ate their whole meal with the unleavened bread and after the meal Jesus took the Cup.

In Acts 2:42 it says all the believers continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. In verse 46 it says they went to the temple daily and went from house to house breaking bread.

How often should we use communion?

I believe this question can be answered if you ask yourself: How often do you need communion?

1 Cor 11:26 says for as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

If taking Communion let’s you testify of Jesus Christ then we take it as many times as we need to testify of Jesus Christ.

If taking the Communion means I receive the life of Jesus Christ, then I take it as often as I need to be filled with the Life of Jesus Christ.

If taking the Communion means getting forgiveness of my sins, then I take communion as often as I need to repent and be washed by the blood of Jesus.

If you understand that Communion helps you receive the blessings and promises of God, such as health, then we use it as often as we need health. Derek Prince wrote that he took the communion as medicine, three times a day until he was cured.

What about taking Communion unworthily?

1 Corinthians 11:27 clearly states that whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. Because of this many of you are weak and sickly and many sleep.

I believe what Paul is saying is, we should remember Jesus Christ when we eat of his body and drink of his blood.

In 1 Corinthians chapter 10 he reminds us of the Israelite’s who were all baptized into the same sea and drank from the same rock, Jesus Christ but even they committed idolatry, fornication and murmured and complained. Just as they were one in all this, we are one by eating from the same loaf of bread, Jesus Christ. In Chapter 11 he tells the church that he heard complaints. Some are hungry, so they don’t wait for the others before partaking of the Bread, and others are drunk. He says to them the Lord’s Supper is not to fill your tummy it’s to remember Jesus Christ. We are to judge ourselves before we take part of the Communion. Consider the state of your heart or conscience, forgive and make peace before you eat and drink.

1Co 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

We are to follow Jesus’ example, we are to lay down our lives for the sake of others, we are to turn the other cheek, we are to love others as we love ourselves. We are also suppose to do what Jesus did on the earth, we are to have the same authority he had, we are to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leapers and preach the kingdom of God. I do believe that using the Communion daily can strengthen us with the life of Jesus Christ. By walking in that life which he supplied to us through the work of the Cross we can do the things Jesus did. We can receive the blessings that were lined up for us, we can receive the healing that was already given to us.

As you know we are road-side artists who also have an opportunity to testify of the things God has done for us, to people who did not know that The Shoe is a Ministry.  Most of the these people that come here have been hurt or rejected by Christians because of all the confusion concerning churches, rules and doctrines. If you give them a chance to blow off steam you will hear that they did give their hearts to God but were not taught to guard the heart against sin. They did not realise that the heart should belong to God and only God, so that we can keep the first commandment. All this you know, but I would like to stress the power of the blood of Jesus for without it, the above cannot be achieved.

I am saying that Christians have very hard lives if these two points listed above is not practised daily. I am noticing that TV churches are leading people to Christ without making mention of the blood of Jesus that washes sins away.
