The imaginations and thoughts of the heart are meant to be in use. It is not meant to lay dormant for emergencies only. If it is not in use, we are limiting God in the things He wishes us to bring forth by faith. We should be continually growing in all areas of our lives and should be living exiting lives where we believe for things we would have thought impossible in the past. The present political situation in our country, challenges in our health and family should be a challenge to overcome in our minds, choosing to not live in it but above it.
Deut 30:19: “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live:”
Nothing has changed God is placing life and death before us daily as He did with the Israelite’s in Deuteronomy. To die in the thoughts and imaginations of the heart, to look at the present day circumstances which is hopeless and fearful as the politicians lie and steal, our thoughts are dragged into the pit with them. If we look at the physical present situation it seems as if there is no hope and for this reason many are leaving SA. However this kind of thinking is wilderness thinking. It was the way the Israelite’s were thinking that kept them in the wilderness for forty years, where it should have been one year only. They really only had to change their imaginations and thoughts of their hearts and God would have given them the Promised Land in a supernatural way.
Today our imaginations and thoughts of the heart is the Promised Land. God gives us everything we can think or ask for, if the heart is the place where the power of God is ever present.
How shall we possess the Promised Land? By following our high priest daily and do as He did. Take up your cross follow Him and lay down your burden, lay down your “life”.
Heb 10:22: “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”
Have Him sanctify the heart and make it ready to be the imaginations and thoughts of God’s heart. Lay down your W.I.F.E. (Will, Intellect, Feelings, Emotions) and be the wife of Christ and have a blood washed mind.
In this way Christ becomes the Lord of our hearts. He is the wisdom in us that will transform the mind out of chaos (Gen 1) into life and life abundantly. (John 10:10)
He will make the mind the house of God.
Choose life!
