I believe that all our readers have the understanding that the imagination can bring forth the things we really desire. God has given each one of us imaginations and thoughts of the heart. He has made a way for man to be supernaturally provided for. In Gen 6:5 God destroyed the earth because the above mentioned thoughts and imaginations of the heart was continually evil . The imaginations were not in use to bring forth good but evil.

As we can see the place inside of us, is the heart of man which has also been identified as the conscience. For the sake of understanding this letter let us call it the “IMAGERY”. This is of course the kingdom of God in us.

This is the place in us we used to play in as children, in our imagination.

I am sure that each one of our readers have managed to bring things out of the imagery. Anything we really have need of can be seen in the imagery, and if we can do this continually those desires of the heart will come because God promises it. This place inside us is like soil that when it has been properly prepared we can sow a seed in it and expect the power of the soil of the imagery to bring forth  whatever we have imagined. Eph 3:22

However, the challenge is that we have to keep on seeing the things we want continually!

This changes the ball game completely for who can really keep this kingdom garden free from the thorns and thistles of wrong thinking. The voices of guilt and offences are familiar enemies who clog the imagery, they make it hard to see the things we desire. Out of our deep chaos of the sinful carnal nature come much more darkness to strangle out good seed in the imagery that now is full of imaginations. [bad ones]

2 Cor 10:5:  “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

The simple task of only imagining in the imagery has been complicated to such an extent that we need Christ to bring every thought into obedience.

The Bible teaches that the imagery should be the dwelling of God, the Holy of Hollies, for it is that place inside us, that is the heart, which we had given back to God. We gave our hearts to God because we could not guard it by ourselves against the sinful nature of the flesh.

By giving His “life” on the cross Jesus made a way that the thoughts of the heart can be sprinkled daily for the forgiveness of non-life- giving thoughts that strangle the imagery.

Heb 10:22:  “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”

Heb 10:23:  “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)”

In chapter nine Paul explains how the tabernacle was the way the imagery would be sanctified. In chapter ten he explains how it is done in the New Testament.

In chapter 11 we know and believe God exists because of what we perceive in the imagery. From this flows our faith and that to live by faith is the only way to please God. Abraham saw the heavenly country in this place and believed in what he saw so much that he went in search of the heavenly city.

Heb 11:10:  “For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” Paul calls it the Promised Land.

In Heb 12 the imagery becomes the city of God.

Heb 12:22:  “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect…”

The imagery causes us to live in heavenly places right now. Heaven is right inside the mind of man, if he has a Christ mind.
