August 2020 – Righteousness Consciousness

For instance, Jesus healed everyone without asking about sin in their lives. To keep the healing they needed to be disciplined. When people do not heal after we pray for them we tend to say they did not have faith. This however was not a requirement with Jesus because He healed them with His faith and so it should be with us. To develop this kind of faith that heals when you lay hands on the sick (Mark 16) is what we should be after.
This kind of faith that pleases God should be our purpose in this earth. We should be as Jesus was! We should be the righteousness of God. I want to explain to you the way I was taught that made a great impact on my faith life.
We need to have a righteousness consciousness.

When Jesus was at the grave of Lazarus in John 11:39, Jesus said: “Take ye away the stone.” “Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days”.
These words of Martha are sin consciousness.
Then Jesus said: “Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth!
These words of Jesus show His righteousness consciousness.
With the understanding of righteousness consciousness and knowing that we are in Christ who did these things in the earth we should also do these things. In fact it is expected of us to do this because we know it is God’s will that these things be done. God wants everybody healed and provided for. God introduced himself as the I am.” I am the Lord that healeth thee. I am the Lord that provides for thee.” Just get rid of sin consciousness. Use the cross, lay down your life and rise in Christ. It is no longer I who lives but Christ in me. I am hid in Christ. (Col 3:3)
A second point I would like to make is that you should know that you are loved. God is love. If we keep the commandments and make sure the heart belongs to God and forgive when we pray, we should pray and receive. Begin with your own life, cast Satan out of your body in aches and pains and any other sickness must go. Do not back down, stand on the word!
“Satan it is written I was healed by the stripes of Jesus now get out and stay out!”.
Start with your own body and your family and then do the same with your finances.
Do not prepare for a long fight. When you pray, believe that you receive and receive now. Satan must obey. Only prepare your heart so that you have that confidence that moves mountains Mark 11:23-25.
