During my resent holiday I have seen lots of misery and have come to the conclusion that the Kingdom of God is not preached as Jesus told us to. Jesus spent a lot of time saying how the Kingdom of God functions in many different ways using Parables. For lack of space I cannot list them all here.
The crux of the matter is that God supplies exactly what we sow by the way we sow. A Good measure pressed down shaken together running over like in Luke 6:38. If we judge we will be judged, if we forgive we will be forgiven. What we sow we will reap.
As a young man I had to learn this simple lesson that I should just begin to do what my hand finds to do. Today I know this to be a kingdom principle. It seems impossible but this is the miraculous way God supplies all our needs. This principle alludes many and causes a lot of frustrations and jealousy.
How can this be that these people have everything while others have nothing? The difference is that this person did lose his job but started weeding his own garden with such excellence and dedication that God promoted him to owning his own gardening service and garden tool supply, thriving business where he has put his entire family to work. Some call it luck but luck has nothing to do with it. It is the principle of the Kingdom of God. It is the way God develops character in His children with a deep founded understanding of who God is. The farmer sowed the seed but God made it grow. No one can explain how a dead seed gave such a great harvest. When surveying the harvest the farmer can only take of his hat and kneel before the God of the harvest with great humility. The Kingdom of God brought forth the harvest. “Thy Kingdom thy power thy glory”. The Kingdom of God is right there inside your mind and is the power that raises the crop. The Kingdom of God functions with righteousness or a clear conscience. When the heart is sanctified the Kingdom of God brings forth the desire of the heart.
Thousands of people are hopeless and jobless while expecting the government to give them jobs. Many are throwing their hands in the air, giving up tired of trying. Right alongside this hopeless physical state exists a spiritual power in parallel that is life in the unseen.
Just start by doing whatever your hand finds to do, then do it as if you are doing it for God. The Bible teaches, “do not despise the day of small beginnings”. In the same way the mustard seed that is the smallest, grows to be the largest herb. This is the way the Kingdom of God operates. As a little leaven, leavens the entire bread so is the Kingdom of God, it starts with small things.
Ecc 9:10: “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might;”
Many thriving businesses have started this way and experience supernatural blessing because of the proper foundation was laid to begin with. The foundation is called humility and the fear of the Lord.
Psa 51:17: “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”
When our backs are against the wall we can only look up. God has a way of cornering us into a position where we have to choose between life or death.
Once this foundation is laid we need to guard the heart for out of it comes the issues of life. We cannot speak death and expect a harvest. Learn to talk right, learn to see the harvest even though it does not yet exist in the physical, it does in your spirit.
Once you have started to do what your hand has found to do you must never be afraid. “Trust in God with all thy might and lean not to thy own understanding”. The result of such dedication will be a testimony. One day you will stand before a crowd and testify with great conviction that God lives and His kingdom has come, which is our purpose in this life.
