I have lately been spending time memorizing scriptures that strengthens personal faith.
If you learn to keep the word in your mouth day and night you will make your way prosperous. In Mark 11: 23-24 we learn that you will have whatsoever you say if you believe and doubt not in your heart.
I was reminded by the Lord that this is the way we started and managed to accomplish much by speaking the word, hearing the spoken word brought faith –which is the only way to please God.
All this is important but I would like to remind everyone that faith will come on the scene a lot quicker if we guard the heart first of all. If we seek first the kingdom of God then all things are added. The kingdom is within and it is the heart of man where God makes His temple.
However the enemy is also within. (Mark 7:21). Many of God’s children are worried, they admit that stress is present openly. God’s law is written on the heart of people and we know worry is fear. This is saying that we are idolaters. Fear is ruling in the heart! –of course it is in the heart how else can it affect our lives to such an extent that some want to commit suicide or just give up on the business.
A Friend of mine has been speaking word over his business, praying continually and then he admits to me that he has high blood pressure because he is stressed. Now they have decided to hold a praise God meeting. Praising God is a very good idea because it pushes fear aside as God is magnified, however it does not deal with the root of the problem. Fear must be dealt with at the cross. The blood must be applied to the soul. The blood is atonement for the soul. Fear must be put in its place below the Line, under our feet. This is the reason we have communion because sin has come into the heart.
We know what sins have to be dealt with by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Then He will…
Heb 10:22: “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”
When peace comes to the heart you know you are ready to begin to speak the word. In this way the heart is sanctified and made ready for the seed of the word to be sown in a prepared soil of the heart to bring forth good things as we guard the heart only the good seed will grow to glorify God. As we keep on speaking the word over and over the Holy Spirit begins to explain the power of the word and the way it creates the desires of our hearts. Prov. 4:22 The word, is life to them that find it, it is healing to their flesh- or whatever the need is.
There is power in the word but it must be sown into a sanctified heart.
Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart above all else, for out of it are the issues of life.
